The Indian automobile industry saw massive YoY growth for the month of March 2021, the reason being the starting of the spread of a deadly virus which even after a year passed hasn’t been neutralized and has again started to spread more rapidly than the last year, but leaving this discussion on the regular media, this atrocity made the automobile market dip to point of 0 sales. The only good news after this spread was the growth of the automobile market towards the end of the year, last month the auto sector recorded MoM growth of 3.9% which defines the steady growth.
However, the pandemic wasn’t the only problem the market faced, few months ago the global automobile sector also witnessed the shortage of semi-conductor, which disrupted the supply chain of many companies. But, even facing these difficult times sectors like the Hatchback, Compact SUV and Mid-size SUV were able to perform pretty impressively, however, the same can’t be said for the Sedan segment. With the SUV trend in place, the Sedan segment hasn’t been able to garner much great audience, which is pretty much reflected in their sales. So, today we bring you these sales charts to see who were the Top 5 Mid-size Sedan March 2021.
