Volvo recently launches the facelift version of the S60 sedan in the Indian market. The manufacturers are planning to launch three more updated new products for three domestic markets, from which XC60 facelift is the second product going to launch out of three products. Ahead, of its launch in the domestic market, here we put together the Top 5 things to know about the upcoming 2021 XC60 facelift: –
- Exterior updates
Volvo has kept the exterior changes to as minimum as possible, considering it’s a facelift version. Although, the car gets a slightly upgraded front fascia with an updated grille and redesigned front bumper, along with newly added paint schemes and new dual-tone alloy wheels. On the interior space, it gets new leather-free upholsteries and a new textile based-trim called city wave.
- New Features
The 2021 Volvo XC60 facelift comes with, 9.0-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports android auto and apple car play with hands-free google assistant, a native in-car app via google play store, and navigation through Google maps connectivity. These newly added features include only in the new digital services package. The package also includes wireless charging, Volvo call application in selected markets. XC60 facelift features list also boasts ventilated seats, driver-powered adjustable seats with dual memory function, digital 12.3-inch drivers instrument cluster, and so on.
The pre-facelift version of Volvo XC60 comes powered with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, that develops 235 HP of maximum power and 480 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox system, delivering power to all wheels. Although, Volvo India working on the phase-out of the oil burner powertrains from the Indian market. So, the 2021 XC60 facelift likely to power with a 2.0 Litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine, while the specification for the mill is not yet revealed but the manufacturer offers a 2.0 L Turbo petrol engine in different tunes stage, T4(190HP), T5(250Hp), and T6(310HP).

As of now, Volvo India retails the outgoing model of XC60 with a starting price of Rs 59.90 lakh (ex-showroom). While the updated 2021 XC60 facelift likely to be priced similarly to the ongoing model. Although, let’s see how manufacturers take the price with new added features and paint scheme.
