- Hyundai N line I20
Hyundai is all set to launch their first performance-oriented N-line sport line versions in India. The first N line product from the Korean manufacturer is going to be the I20 N line, which is set to launch this year itself. Over the standard i20, the N line features a sportier look and cosmetic changes inside out comprised of blacked alloy wheels, blacked-out ORVMs, twin exhaust tips, sportier cushion front seats, a bespoke steering wheel, metal pedals, and N badging over the gear noob too. The N line variant is the Top end trim from I20, and the price range could be starting from Rs 12 lakh. The I20 n line likely to powered with the same 1.0 Litre TGDi turbo petrol engine which develops 120 PS of maximum power and 172 Nm of peak torque, along with retuned suspension, more performance, and a sportier exhaust.
- Tata HBX (Hornbill)
Tata HBX or Hornbill is the first Micro-SUV from the brand likely to launch this year as well. The SUV was first Showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo last year named HBX. Although, the recent trademark paper leak shows that the SUV could be named Hornbill. The test mule has been spotted since last year on roads as well with heavy camouflage. From the Spied Spots some features, and exterior details been seen many times. The entry-level SUV from Tata likely features, floating infotainment system, LED DRLs, split headlamps, smartphone connectivity, digital Cluster, a Harman-Kardon sourced audio system, and so on.
- Tiago CNG and turbo trim
Tata is planning to launch the turbo as well as the CNG variant of the smallest hatchback Tiago will come as a replacement for Tiago JTP. Tiago Turbo is likely to be powered with a 1.2 Litre turbo petrol engine same as Altroz iTurbo trim. Also, CNG variant test mules of Tiago being spotted many times on roads, and likely to offer 1.2 Litre Revotron petrol engine which develops 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. Both the new variant edition to the Tiago line-up will pair with a standard 5-speed manual gearbox system and help the hatchback to go against the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo.
- Citroen CC21
With the launch of Mid-Size SUV Citroen C5 Aircross, the brand has already started working on launching their second offering in the Indian market, and it could be a Sub-4m SUV codenamed as CC21. The upcoming compact SUV built on a brand’s common modular platform CMP. The CC21 expected to offer both a naturally aspirated engine and a turbocharged engine. As for the transmission the NA engine could only pair with MT and the Turbo trim could be paired with both MT and AT gearbox systems. While, the official announcement for the vehicle is yet to do, but as per reports the CC21 is set to launch this year itself. Although, the fully electric version of the car also in work and likely to global debut next year.
- Toyota Belta
The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will be the third offering for the Toyota Kirloskar motor to be rebadged and go on sale in the Indian market this year itself. As per reports Toyota has also applied for a trademark name for Belta, which further suggests that this name likely to be used for Sedan. If this happens the vehicle comes powered with the same engine as in the Ciaz – 1.5 Litre petrol engine which develops 105 PS of maximum power and 138 Nm of peak torque, and likely to offer 5-speed MT or an optional 4-Speed torque convertor. The Sedan is currently retailed between Rs 8.52 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh ex-showroom, while Belta could price slightly more compared with Ciaz.
