The new facelift variant of The Toyota Crysta has recently been launched in the Indonesian market and is now all set to be launched in a few upcoming months in the Indian market. Some media reports are claiming that a few of the Toyota dealers have begun taking pre-orders for the new not yet released Toyota Innova Crysta, here is some information regarding the reports that we have acquired.
No official news regarding the pre-order has yet been announced, but from what we have heard is that there will be a subsequent on-road price hike of about Rs 60,000 to Rs 1,00,000 in the new model. Toyota has also displayed its reliability and safety of the new Crysta by releasing the ASEAN NCAP crash test rating of 5 stars which is the highest safety standard rating that a car can acquire.
In terms of the design and styling of the 2021 facelift Innova Crysta, most of its body design remains the same with a slightly tweaked front view with a large revamped grille with a chrome outline, a redesigned bumper with the addition of fog lamp and turn indicators embedded in vertical black housing, a blacked-out chin with a skid plate colored in faux silver, redesigned projector headlamps with a chrome outline that slightly mergers in the grille and 16-inch Diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear end, the facelifted Innova Crysta gets a hexagonal panel that runs from the tail light till the license plate. For the interior, the facelift version will be getting a built-in air purifier, a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
For the engine specifications, the New Innova Crysta facelift will be coming in two engine variations both of them being BS6 compliant with a 2.4-liter diesel engine and 2.7-liter petrol engine, where the petrol engine can produce up to 164bhp of power and 245Nm of torque, whereas the diesel can produce up-to 148bhp of power and 343Nm of torque, these engines can be coupled with either a 5-speed manual with RWD or a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
