Toyota March 2021 sales – Highest ever in 8 years

Toyota motors India garnered their highest ever sales in the past eight years in March 2021 sales, up to 73 percent positive sales growth.

  • Toyota Motors India sold 15,000 car units last month
  • The brand saw a healthy increase of 926 units last month
  • Company also claims that enquires and bookings has increased by 7 percent last month

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has today announced their March 2021 sales figures. The brand sold 15,000 units last month, with massive three figures sales growth. The Japanese car manufacturer sold 7,023 units of the car in the same period last year in March 2020, and now as compared with March 2021, it gets 114 percent amazing positive sales growth Year-on-year basis. It is obvious that in these periods of the month last year there was a financial and health crisis and an overall lockdown in almost every country, due to which last financial year for the auto sector was mostly frizzy, but last quarter of last year provides a good consistent come up. Compared on a month-on-month basis the brand sold 14,075 units of the car In Feb 2021, and last month saw a healthy increase of 926 units.

Toyota completed last quarter January to March 2021 period of FY2021 registered 73 percent sales up compared with the same corresponding months last year. Also, the manufacturer also claimed that wholesale domestic growth has been the highest in the past eight years. In Q4 FY2021, the carmakers outperform the third quarter of October to December 2020, which saw a regular sales boast courtesy of the festive season, with strong growth of 42 percent.

Toyota has also claimed that their product inquiries and bookings have been grown by 7 percent in the last month as against the previous month of Feb 2021, courtesy of newly launched products in the Indian market. Toyota recently strengthens its Indian portfolio by introducing the facelift versions of two giant sale volume gainers of the brand, Innova Crysta MPV and Full-size SUV Fortuner.
