Mercedes-Benz EQA is the new Entry-level electric vehicle from the German Luxury Brand. The said car was unveiled yesterday and will go on the floor this coming month, the official dates haven’t been announced yet.

Mercedes-Benz finally unveiled their first compact SUV fully electric vehicle globally. The vehicle platform is taken from the 2021 GLA, instead of any unique electric vehicle platform. Although several changes and updates have been done to make it compatible with Electric EQA. The EQA will initially available with a single variant named 250. EQA will be powered with a single electric motor mounted on the front axle, and the battery pack of the vehicle is rated as 66.5 Kwh usable watt. The battery pack is capable of giving a good driving range of 426 Km (WLTP certified).
EQA develops 190 PS of maximum power and 375 Nm of peak torque, with the help the car can go from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 8.9 seconds. If we talk about the charging time, it takes just 30 minutes to charge up the battery to 80 percent via a 100 KW DC fast charger. While the AC 11 KW charger will take up to 5 hours for 80 percent charging. As per the reports, more variants for EQA will arrive later after the launch, mainly performance-oriented model with up to 272 PS or more of maximum power and electric AWD(All-wheel Drive). Mercedes-Benz EQA based on GLA as per the exterior designs, but with few changes and updates. The noticeable change can see at the front, the GLA grille is replaced by a black Panel, like the EQC. The Panel gets a pair of horizontally expanded running strips with a 3-star point Mercedes logo in between. Also, the Massive 20-inch alloy wheels with multi spokes Design looks sleek. The Taillights are redesigned and the blackout roof and black roof rails further enhance the exterior look. The interior of the EQA has the same layout as 2021 GLA, while in addition a 12.3 inch fully digital instrument cluster. Mercedes Benz EQA unveiled the Safety features on the car include brake assist, lane assist, 360-degree camera, Steering assist, active blind spot, and a traffic sign. There is no official date for the launch has announced for a global launch. Last year, the German brand has introduced its first electric vehicle EQC, and further the brand likely to expand its EV line-Up.
