The updated FY2021 version Honda Adventure XRE 300 was unveiled in the south American market in Brazil. It is offered in two variants XRE adventure and XRE rally. The adventure bike competes its biggest rival royal Enfield Himalayan and Yamaha XTZ 250 and is currently the top seller bike in the Brazilian market. It should be noted that the official price of the bike is yet to be reviled but it is likely to be the same as its rivals. While talking about design elements, at front Dual LED headlight, LED taillights, sharp LED indicators, sculpted fuel tank, raked front forks, pro link rear suspension, pointed nose section, upswept exhaust, single-piece seat, and a short windscreen.
2021 Honda XRE 300 gets a sporty upright handlebar giving a better off-roading riding position, along with sleek-looking footpegs. It boasts its features list with a fully digital instrument cluster. The braking is handled by a 256 mm front disc brake and a 220 mm rear disc brake, along with a standard Dual-Channel ABS. The XRE 300 rides on a 21-inch front tire and 18-inch rear tire. While talking about the adventure segment in India, it is slowly growing day by day. As of now, Honda has recently launched CB200X derived from Hornet 2.0.
As for performance 2021, Honda XRE 300 comes powered by a 291.6 cc single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine, which belts out 26 HP of maximum power and 27 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain comes paired with a 5-speed transmission gearbox system and has a claimed top speed of 135 Kmph. The bike also gets a Flex One technology that enables a ways passage switching between petrol and diesel. Whether as for the Indian market it is likely unknown for launch in the coming future but it should be noted that XRE 300 name has been trademarked in India. Although, the trademark would not necessarily mean the motorcycle launch.
