2022 BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 launched in the Indian market, with an affordable price tag of Rs 6.61 lakh ex-showroom. While the design and all the electric equipment’s remains unchanged and continues to be same as its predecessor. In comparison to the model it replaces, the latest MY2022 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is now Rs 7,000 costlier than its previous model. With the new model year update, Ninja 650 comes with a new paint scheme. The braking is handled by a twin-disc brake at the front and a single disc at the rear wheel along with a standard Dual-channel ABS
As part of the new update Ninja, 650 gets an updated signature lime green paintwork, along with white hints on its lowering fairing and red pinstripe graphics. While the previous honeycomb pattern found previously gets away from the bike. In addition to that, the bike also gains a pearl robotic white color scheme highlighted with metallic grey and lime green highlights. Other than that whole bike remains unaltered and remains as it was launched before last year with the BS6 update. The bike rides on conventional telescopic front forks and rear monoshock absorbers.
As for performance Kawasaki Ninja 650 comes powered by the same 649 ccs parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, which belts out 67.3 HP of maximum power output at 8,000 Rpm and 64 Nm of peak torque at 6,700 Rpm. The powertrain is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox system, along with a slipper clutch. The bike comes with a total fuel capacity of 15 liters, which develops a total riding range of 450 Km with a 30 Kmpl fuel economy. While, as per electricals the bike carries forward it’s full-LED lighting along with a 4.3-inch full TFT instrument cluster compatible with Bluetooth connectivity.
