Bajaj two-wheeler’s most popular product globally as well as in domestic market Pulsar series sales analysis of July 2021. Yet again Pulsar 125 recorded the highest sales.

Bajaj Auto has had the pulsar series as one of the best-selling products and most popular bike in the Indian market at lower engine specs. The homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer recorded 1,56,232 units last month as against 1,52,474 during the same period last year resulting in Year-on-year sales growth of 2.5 percent. The manufacturer finished in the fourth position in the overall manufacturer monthly sales chart behind Hero MotoCorp, Honda, and TVS. The company last month market share stood at 12.46 percent against 11.90 percent in July 2020 getting 0.56 percent growth.
It should be noted that in the last few months the combined sales of the Pulsar series are more than other products in the Indian portfolio. While the pulsar 125 yet again recorded the highest sale with 34,667 units sold in July 2021 against 30,217 units during the same period last year resulting in Year-on-year growth of 14.73percent. The Pulsar 150 posted 21,535 units last month against 30,582 units in July 2020 getting degrowth of 29.58 percent on a YoY basis. As for new products introduction, brand a few weeks back launched new Naked version of 160cc pulsar.

Although, the combined sales of NS 160, 180, RS200, and 200 stand at 5,408 units against 8,187 units during the same period last year resulting in 33.94 percent degrowth. On the sales released Bajaj Auto Rajiv Bajaj revealed that a new generation pulsar series will be coming in the next two months and expands the line-up in India. The top-end variant Pulsar 220F finished at last with 3,484 units against 4,850 units sold in July 2020 resulting in 28.16 percent degrowth on a YoY basis. Although, Bajaj Auto has actively tested NS250 and pulsar 250F.
