Benelli India has today announced the launch of its power cruiser motorcycle 502C in the domestic market, with an aggressive price tag of Rs 4.98 lakh ex-showroom. The bookings have already commenced in India with an initial token amount of Rs 10,000 across its showrooms. The cruiser has plenty of commonalities with the Leoncino 500 and the TRK 502, as both the bikes derive power from the same 500cc engine. The electronics and equipment list of Benelli 502C consists of LED headlamps, LED turn indicators, TFT instrument clusters, LED taillights, and so on.

While talking about safety it comprises Anti block braking system, adjustable front footpegs, 41mm upside-down front forks, and monoshock rear suspension for better handling and riding. The braking is handled by a 280 mm front dual disc brake and a single 240mm rear disc brake. Benelli India division offers 502C in two color options – Cognac red and Matte black paint job which looks sleek and beautiful with power cruiser. Other notable highlights of the cruiser are it gets 17-inch alloy wheels, relaxed upright handlebar position, Pirelli GT tires on both sides, and so on.

As for performance the bike comes powered by a 500cc parallel twin-cylinder engine, which develops 46.8 HP of maximum power at 8,500 Rpm and 46 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 Rpm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed transmission gearbox system and has a fuel capacity of 21.5 Litres. Although Benelli 502C doesn’t have any rivals in its premium space, while it gets competition with CF Moto 650cc range, Kawasaki Vulcan S, and the premium bikes space king Royal Enfield 650 twins. The Benelli 502C has 170mm ground clearance and it tips at weigh scale at 216 Kg.
