BMW Motorrad today has unveiled the CE-04 electric scooter as a part of the silent revolution and it will inspire all future range of electrified scooters in the future. The CE-04 is not the first electric scooter from the German manufacturer but it will replace the C400 Max-Scooter scooter which was on sale in international markets. The BMW CE-04 is a radical departure compared to the C-Evolution and is the production version of the concept link, which was showcased back in 2017 and the nameplate was unveiled last year.

The electric Scooter CE-04 is heavily inspired by its concept version and it is also inspired by C400 Maxi-Scooter. The design and the platforms do point fingers to the future of e-scooters from the German manufacturer. As for the design the Scooter features eccentric styling for the rear, good looking headlamp unit, and build on a simple architecture. The BMW CE-04 has the 31 KW battery pack positioned under the floor and thus has a bullet-like silhouette structure according to the brand. BMW has put a lot of effort into giving the CE-04 good packaging along with high-end technologies.

The BMW electric Scooter CE-04 comes powered by a 31 KW battery capacity and is capable of developing 42 HP of maximum power. The BMW CE-04 can sprint from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 2.6 seconds. A lower-spec version uses a 23 KW electric motor which generates 31 HP of maximum power. The lithium-ion battery pack is taken from the brand’s iX-SUV. The electric scooter has a claimed riding range of 130 Km in a single full charge, and using the fast charger it can charge 0 to 80 percent in just an hour and 40 minutes while the standard charger takes up to 4 hours and 2 minutes. The Scooter comes with three driving modes Rain, Eco, and road.
