eBikeGo Indian e-Bike rental platform has announced the launch of its Rugged electric bike in India with a starting price of Rs 84,999 excluding FAME II subsidy.

eBikeGo an Indian e-bike rental platform has announced the launch of Rugged electric bike a few days ago. It is offered with IoT technology. Rugged electric bike chassis has a distinctive V-Shaped design and build on Stable high-strength steel for heavy-duty purposes. It has been offered a 1.9 KWh battery pack, which can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in just 4 hours. It gets unbeatable TCO in India with lower upfront costs by 15% and increases cycle life by 3x. The rugged electric bike is offered in two variants G1 and G1+. The E-bike measures 1350mm wheelbase, 175mm ground clearance, 850mm width, 50 Litre of storage, and 102 Kg of curb weight.
While the one and the only difference between these two variants are that top variants G1+ has an additional portable battery with a water-resistant system. The bike comes with a swappable battery tech and the changing time is less than 1 minute. Electric motor used in e-Bike is India’s first indigenously built Hub motor with a water resistance system rating of IP67 and it is fully serviceable as well. Apart from that, the features list includes Rugged smart app connectivity which enables remote on/off, charging monitoring, vehicle performance, anti-theft system, vehicle location, service record, and much more. The bike featured all-LED lighting, a Single USB outlet, and optional IoT tech, and a cell phone holder.
As for performance, the Rugged electric bike is powered by a 3KW electric motor paired with a removable 1.9 KWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is capable enough to generate a peak power of 3.0 KW. It has a claimed top speed of 75 Kmph and has two riding modes Eco and Sport. The former generates 160 Km of riding range and later develops 135 km of riding claimed range. The braking is handled by disc brakes on both sides along with CBS combined braking system. The bike rides on 14-inch tubeless tires with standard multi-spoke blacked-out alloy wheels on both front and rear. The suspension duties are performed by leading link anti-dive at the front and 4-point adjustable shock absorber at the rear.
