Hero moto-Corp is one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturer company in India, for which largely company’s sales depended on the commuter motorcycles like, hero splendor, splendor plus, super splendor.

As for their scooters, it’s very relatively slow-sellers especially compared with the segment leaders like TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa. That said, Hero’s scooter has been gaining more attraction lately. The Hero Destini 125 managed to sell a cumulative of 26,714 units in October 2020, this amount to have 158% growth in year on year basis against the same period last month Hero managed to sell only 10,371 units in October 2019. Compared with the month on month basis hero sold 19,644 units last year in September, we get a month on month growth of 36%.
Hero Moto-Corp’s main sales come out from their commuter motorcycle range and had a lot of success, but this is not the same with their scooter and premium motorcycle range. As said, the things for the hero scooter seems to be refining in the respect of sales figures. Since the Destini 125 has good sales numbers last month, it has to go at the same pace to get to its competitors. Honda Active again lead the sales chart with more than 2.39 lakhs unit were dispatched last month. TVS Jupiter comes at second position with over 74,000 units were retailed last month.
Hero Destini 125 is powered by a 124.6 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, which generates 9.1 PS of maximum power and 10.4 Nm of peak torque. Hero Destini 125 comes with a mated standard CVT. The scooter also got a long features list which includes, 10-inch alloy wheels, digital instrument clusters, tubeless tires, i3S tech idle(start/stop), CBS(combined braking system, drum brakes, boot light, and a telescopic front suspension system. The Hero Destini 125 comes in two variants LX which is priced at Rs 66,310 and VX priced at Rs 69,700 congruently.
