One of the biggest two-wheeler manufacturers globally Hero MotoCorp, Released its monthly sales chart for July 2021.
- Hero Splendor yet again remains at top of the chart with 2,50,794 units
- Apart from Splendor all the bikes saw a negative sale in July 2021
- While Xtreme 160R sold over 2,000 units last month
Hero MotoCorp one of the biggest two-wheeler manufacturing companies globally has registered a total cumulative domestic sale of 4,29,138 units last month. When compared with twelve months back it garnered 5,06,946 units in July 2020 resulting in 15.3 percent degrowth on a Year-on-year basis. The company has a massive market share of 34.22 percent last month in India as against 39.57 percent share in July 2020 saw a decline in share by 5.34 percent. Hero completed last month at the top of the sales chart in overall manufacturer in two-wheeler space ahead of Honda, TVS, Bajaj, Yamaha, and many more.
The Hero Splendor entry-level model from the brand registered a total of 2,50,794 units last month as against 2,13,413 units in July 2020 resulting in 17.51 percent decent positive sales growth on a YoY basis. And yet again Splendor becomes the top seller product from the company Indian line-up. The second position is taken by HF Deluxe with 1,06,304 units in July 2021 as against 1,54,142 units sold in July 2020 getting a 31 percent decline on a YoY basis. The third fourth and fifth position is taken by glamour 20,606 units, passion 18,316 units, and Pleasure 17,713 units.
Hero Destini 125 scooter registered a total unit of 8,070 units as against 13,184 units sold in the same corresponding month last year resulting in 39 percent sales decline on a YoY basis. In the seventh position, we have Hero Maestro Edge 125 with dissipating over 3,000 units and getting a negative sales growth of 41 percent on a YoY basis. The eighth and ninth position is taken by recently launched Xtreme 160R with 2,302 units and Xpulse 200 with 1,402 units. Although, Xtreme 160R was launched this year so there is no Year-on-year comparison. While Xpulse 200 saw a negative sales growth of 5 percent on a YoY basis.
