Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have announced the launch of CBX 200 adventure, priced at Rs 1.44 lakh ex-showroom.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have announced the launch of CBX 200 adventure bikes in India, at Rs 1,44,500 ex-showroom. The bike features more premium looks and features when compared to its major rival hero Xpulse 200. While the price range for CBX 200 is more affordable than Plus 200 Rs 1.20 lakh ex-showroom. Honda CBX 200 adventure based on Honda Hornet 2.0 naked streetfighter and comes with a lot of common features and designs elements. With Honda CBX 200 Japanese brand continues to expand its two-wheeler range hoping to boasts its sales as well. Honda CBX 200 is offered in three colors – Sport Red, Matte silver metallic, and pearl night star black.
The Honda CBX 200 comes with a lot of similarities with Hornet 2.0, which consists of Sharp LED headlamps, along with LED turn indicators, mounted data knuckle guard, tall handlebar, tinted windscreen, and so on. It also boasts it features a list with split seats, engine cowl, upright handlebar for aid in or out urging off-roading, dual-purpose tires and the list goes on and on. The bike rides on gold-colored upside front forks and a monoshock rear suspension system. The braking is handled by disc brakes on both wheels, with a standard Dual-Channel ABS.
As for performance the bike comes powered by an engine borrowed from its sibling Hornet 2.0, which is powered with a 184.8 cc single cylinder air cooled engine, The powertrain is capable enough to develop 17.3 PS of maximum power at 8,500 Rpm and 16.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 Rpm. The engine comes paired with a five-speed transmission gearbox system. It should be noted that to get success in a market like India, the brand should more be thinking about offering the best in segment features and space along with an affordable price tag. While Honda CBX 200 ticks all the points with premium features and looks comes to a more pocket-friendly price.
