Honda has recently launched a U-Go electric scooter in the Chinese market and is powered with a 48 Volt 30 Ah battery pack.

Electricity is bringing the next fuel source for the future automobiles, and many companies launching new products globally day in and day out. Many automakers also working on Hydrogen fuel technology and recording the highest driving range on a single full-charged hydrogen fuel cell. Going in a recent activity Japanese automaker Honda Two-wheeler introduced a new electric scooter U-Go in the Chinese market. It comes with a quite affordable price tag of CNY 7,499 converted as INR 86,000, making it cheaper than TVS IQube.
While, as for the design theme U-Go comes with a more simple and futuristic look. As the front apron consists of LED headlamps, LED DRLs shaped as Horseshoe, and an LED turn indicator positioned on the handlebar just behind the LCD Instrument cluster. As for the rear apron, it also gets a simple look and design, which consists of simple LED taillights with integrated turn lights on the sides below a single-piece seat. The grab rail is also intelligently designed as well. The scooter is available with two trims – low and regular, along with a single-tone paint job.
As for performance, the Honda U-Go comes powered by a 48 Volt 30 Ah battery pack, paired to a 1.2 KW DC motor, producing a claimed range of 130 Km. While low-speed trims have 800 KW motors and have a claimed range of 65 Km and regular has a claimed range of 130 Km. The Scooter has a claimed top speed of 54 Kmph. The scooter boasts its features list with all-LED lighting, USB charging, an anti-theft alarm, LCD instrument cluster, larger 26Litre under-seat storage, and rides on 12-inch on front and 10-inch on the rear wheel.
