Yet again Hero MotoCorp Splendor has led the two-wheeler space with over 2 lakh units sold in June 2021, and here we put together the top 10 two-wheelers sold in last month.

  • Hero MotoCorp Splendor series once again finished at the top of monthly sales chart for June 2021
  • Second position is held by Hero HF Deluxe with 1,10,724 units sold
  • TVS Apache Series finished at tenth position with 14 percent degrowth

Hero MotoCorp Splendor once again proved its popularity in the Indian market, as it finished at the top of the monthly sales chart for the Two-wheeler space. Hero dispatched 2,64,009 units last month as against 1,81,190 units sold in the same month last year getting 45.71 percent positive sales growth. While the second and third position in the top 10 two-wheelers sold in June 2021 is taken by Hero HF Deluxe and Japanese scooter Honda Activa. The former dispatched 1,10,224 units last month and the latter sold 94,274 units. Active at third position is quite unusual as in the past few months it finishes at second position.

The Home-grown two-wheeler brand Bajaj Pulsar finished at fourth position with 79,150 units sold in last month against 80,822 units sold in the same month last year resulting in 2 percent sales degrowth on a YoY basis. Although, Honda CB Shine finished at fifth position with a positive sales surge of 58.81 percent last month as it dispatched 71,869 units against 45,254 units in June 2020. The Bajaj one of the most affordable commuter bike Platina 110 finished at the sixth position with 43,313 units sold in June 2021.

TVS has occupied the seventh and eighth position with XL100 and scooter Jupiter. The former sold 35,897 units and the latter dispatched 31,848 units last month, against 40,316 units and 39,906 units in the same corresponding month last year. The Suzuki Access Internal combustion engine-powered variant finished at ninth position with total domestic cumulative sales of 31,399 units last month against 37,831 units sold in June 2020, resulting in 17 percent negative sales growth on a YoY basis. The TVS Apache series finished at the tenth position with cumulative sales of 30,233 units in June 2021, against 35,277 units sold in June 2020, resulting in 14.30 percent negative sales growth.
