TVS one of the biggest manufacturers of premium sports bikes in India, registered great sales numbers last month Oct 2020. While more than 41,000+ units were retailed of apache RR series last month.

As the year 2020 going towards the closure the automobile industry is getting a remarkable recovery in sales, especially in the two-wheeler sector. Vehicle sales have gone through a recovery period in most parts post lockdown period. TVS motor India Chennai-based manufacturer also got a pretty healthy sale last month, the company managed to retail 41,439 units of Apache RR series. In which 40,493 units were the RTR models and 496 units were for RR 310 model. Overall apache series registered a 20.33 percent sales growth year-on-year basis, with a total of 34,281 units sold in Oct 2019. As compared on a month-on-month basis Apache RR series managed to get 8.3 percent of positive growth against 38,263 units sold in which 37,788 units RTR and 475 units of RR 310.
The Apache RR series consists of 4 individual models RTR 160, RTR 180, RTR 160 4V, and RTR 4V. The standard features bikes have to offer includes, GTT(glide through traffic), LED headlamp, slipper clutch, single-channel ABS, 4V variants get smartXconnect and for RTR 200 4V buyers will get an option for dual-channel ABS which adds up the adjustable suspension and riding modes to the list. Apache range only got one motorcycle in offering for more than 200cc is RR 310, the bike is co-developed with BMW Motorrad, and share its underpinning with BMW G310R and G310S. RR 310 model offers features like 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, throttle-by-wire ride modes, slipper clutch, liquid-cooling, dual-channel ABS, SmartXconnect, and bi-LED twin projector headlamps.
Recently TVS trademarked the name “Zeppelin R”, which has a rumor of cruiser motorcycle arriving soon. While TVS also filled a trademark name “Raider” which expected to be an adventure motorcycle. With these upcoming launches, TVS is ready to increase its range of premium motorcycles past the Apache series.
