TVS Motors India has announced their sales figures for April 2021, in which they registered 2,38,983 units.
- TVS Motors India registered 65,213 units of Scooters last month
- TVS recorded 2,26,193 units in March 2021
- Brand recorded 12,790 units of three-wheeler last month
TVS Motors India has announced their sales figures for April 2021, and the manufacture recorded a total tally of 2,38,983 units as against 9,640 units in the same month last year. Just like every other manufacturer last year want so good as there was a nationwide lockdown, due to which dispatch and manufacturing were shut down so no YOY basis comparison is done. While the manufacturer state that the retail volume is ahead of dispatch. TVS reduced the dealer stocks to support the channel partners in this crisis situation.
Last month, TVS registered a total domestic tally of 2,26,193 units as against 8,134 units in the same period last year in April 2020. As for the domestic tally, the manufacturer registered 1,31,386 units of Two-wheelers registered last month. The Scooter sales stood at 65,213 units, while bikes registered 1,33,227 units. TVS Shipped 1,07,185 units last month against 9,640 units during the same month last year. As far as exports go the brand garnered 94,807 units in April 2021 against 8,134 units last year.
As for the three-wheelers concerned, the brand registered 12,790 units in April 2021, as against 1,506 units in April 2020. TVS Apache comes out to be the best-selling model from the brand 160 4V and 200 4V drawing a good volume, while the major sales come from Jupiter as it competes against Honda Activa. The TVS Jupiter always sits at the second position in Scooter’s sales segment, ahead of its siblings the Ntorq 125 and Scooty Pep+ continues to gain some good volumes for the brand. While the second wave of health crisis upon the Automotive industry is in tough times ahead.
