Yamaha retro styled FZ-X Neo motorcycle launched in the Indian market, price starting from Rs 1.16 lakh ex-showroom.

Yamaha India has today announced the launch of FZ-X Neo retro styled motorcycle in the Indian market, with price starting from Rs 1.16 lakh for the non-Bluetooth variant and Rs 1.19 lakh for Bluetooth equipped variant (All prices are ex-showroom). Yamaha FZ-X Neo positioned above the FZ V3 and FZ-S V3 in the domestic market portfolio. The design inspiration of the bike is taken from a Yamaha XSR 155 with a presence of round shaped headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank along with unique aluminium brackets.
Yamaha FZ-X shares its underpinnings with FZ V3 and FZ-S V3, but has a bigger dimension and positioned above in the Indian market portfolio. The retro styled roadster comes with single piece seat setup, multi spoke black alloy wheels, conventional single piece grab rail, all digital instrument cluster, front black fender, tyre hugger and a LED tail lights. The bike boasts with longer, wider than the naked commuter sibling and has upright handle position for relax riding posture.
Yamaha FZ-X comes powered by a 149-cc single cylinder air cooled engine, which belts out 12.2 HP of maximum power and 13.3 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain coupled with 5-speed transmission gearbox system. The braking is handled by disc brake at front and rear with single channel ABS system. The bike rides on telescopic front forks and monoshock rear suspension system. As of now the bikes doesn’t have any direct rivals in the Indian market the newest edition in FZ series will further strengthen Yamaha portfolio and it is interesting to see rideability of bike in comparison with FZ V3 Fi.
