One of the few automotive exhibitions of 2020, the 18th Guangzhou Motor show 2020 is being held in Guangzhou China despite the ongoing pandemic. This motor show is held at the period of 20-29 November 2020 having the theme of “New Technology, New Life” displaying the new models and technologies of future generation cars. Several automakers have introduced their new cars and models in this show, a lot of which can be seen in the showrooms as soon as the first quarter of 2021. One of the vehicle debuted at the show is the all-electric Hyundai Mistra.
A new all-electric debut at the Guangzhou motor show is “Hyundai Mistra” from the Hyundai Motors-Beijing exclusive to the Chinese market. This is introduced in the mid-size sedan segment of electric vehicles and may launch in the first half of 2021. Hyundai promises its range to be about 520 km.
Designed by the Hyundai and BAIC, the car gets the Creta inspired front look and back with similar LED headlights, LED DRLs, tail bar, and Chrome finished wide front grille mesh. It is marginally smaller than the Hyundai sonata having dimensions of 4780mm length, 1815mm width, 1460mm height, and 2770mm of wheelbase claiming the best in class space.
Interior and safety features
The 12.3-inch infotainment system and also the 12.3-inch instrument cluster with the driver-assist system, Panoramic sunroof, and surround-view monitor gives quite the eye-pleasing, Premium, and comfortable interior to the vehicle. As far as safety is concerned, it gets all the basics with collision avoidance, driving assistance, and cruise control.
Hyundai Mistra electric motor generates power of 181hp and 310 Nm torque juicing from a 56.5 kWh battery pack offering range of 520 km. This car can be fully charged in 9.5 hours while 30-80 % can be charged in 40 minutes only.
