Hyundai Motor India Limited has today announced the first-ever N-Line edition for the Indian market. The first-ever N-line edition comes equipped with a new generation I20, which was launched last year. It comes priced from Rs 9.84 lakh for base variant V6, goes up to Rs 11.75 lakh for top-end trim N8. It will be exclusively retailed through 188 ‘signature’ outlets across 97 cities in India. Upon launch, it rivals with Tata premium hatch Altroz and Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

The Top end trim I20 N-line is offered in two variants N6 and N8. Both the trims are made available with a high-end Asta grade warranty and optionally provided with a free blue Link subscription along with 3-years of free roadside assistance. The I20 N-line is one of 11 N-line models currently on sale in global markets. The colors offered with N-line are fiery red with black roof, thunder blue, Ferry red, titan grey, Thunder blue with black roof, and polar white. It should be noted that the dual-tone colors will cost extra Rs 15,000.

As for performance, it comes paired with a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo GDI engine, which belts out 120 PS of maximum power and 172 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain comes paired with two transmissions; 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT (Dual-clutch automatic) gearbox. While talking about the notable major changes it gets over regular models are – all 4-disc brakes, stiffer suspension, N-Line badging, Sportier exhaust, edgy design, few small highlights on front and rear bumper, and new design alloy wheels.
