2021 MG ZS EV facelift launched in India with a higher claimed range of 419 km, electric motor remains the same.

MG Motors India has launched the 2021 facelift version of MG ZS EV in the domestic market, price ranges between Rs 20.99 lakhs for base and Rs 24.19 lakhs for Top-end trim (All prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi). The ZS EV was the second product from the British manufacturer in the domestic market, and the second most sold electric vehicle in the Indian market last year 2020 behind Tata Nexon EV. About 3,160 units were sold by Mg of ZS EV last year and with Euro-Spec five-star safety rating. Also, ZS EV is one of the safest cars available in the Indian market for sale.
The zero mission ZS EV can be charged with 5 different options, Alternative home set up the fast charger, DC fast charger, Mobile assistance charger, MG dealerships AC fast charger, and portable car charger. ZS EV SUV is a popular EV in the United Kingdom as well as in global markets. Naturally, MG wanted the momentum going forward in the new calendar year, so they launched ZS EV locally with minor updates like 177 mm more ground clearance and a higher driving range compared with the old model. It is currently offering in two variants, ZS EV Excite and ZS EV exclusive.
ZS EV is now available for sale in more than 31 cities. It is powered with a 44.5 kWh battery pack utilised by a synchronous electric motor, which produces 142 HP of maximum power and 353 Nm of torque when mated with a single-speed automatic transmission system. It is upgraded with a high claimed driving range of 419 km in a single charge compared with340 Km of range in the pre-facelift model. It has a new i-Smart EV 2.0 with a slew car connected technology, leather seats, and so on. The New i-Smart 2.0 now supports Hinglish commands and can understand 35 voice commands like, ‘Hello MG Sunroof Kholo’, ‘Radio Bajao’, Thand Hori hai heater chalao’ etc.
