Land Rover India has today announced the launch of the 2021 version of the performance-based SUV Range Rover Sport SVR. 2021 Sport SVR has been priced at Rs 2.19 crore ex-showroom. The off-roader SUV has been developed by a special edition division of Land Rover operations, and the brand claims to be the fastest and most powerful land rover ever produced. On the exterior, the Range Rover Sport SVR gets a new design bumper with larger intakes that are designed to increase brake cooling. The 2021 SVR also gets newly designed alloy wheels and features some body-colored detailing at the rear profile.

While rear profile remains the same as the outgoing model and continues to have SVR badging on the tailgate. On the interior, the SUV gets the lightweight SVR performance front seats that are upholstery in perforated Windsor leather. The seatbacks are finished in the Satin black, along with SVR badging on the headrest. The Range Rover Sport SVR gets an 825W 19-speaker Meridian to surround sound system, which comes with a dual-channel subwoofer and Trifeild technology. Landrover also made enhancements with SVR Chassis making it more dynamic. Along, with this, the suspension system has been tuned up a little bit.

As for performance, the 2021 Range Rover Sport SVR comes powered by a 5.0 Litre V8 supercharged petrol engine, which belts out 575 HP of maximum power and 700 Nm of peak torque. the powertrain comes paired with an 8-speed torque convertor sending power to all wheels. The SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 4.5 seconds. 2021 Range Rover Sport SVR rivals the likes of Audi Q8, BMW X5 M, and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. The SUV has been brought to India through CBU (Completely built-up) route. The braking is handled by SVR performance-based disc brakes and the brake pad, which provide better performance at higher temperatures and are more resistant to fade during dynamic driving.
