2021 Tata Tigor EV was revealed by the brand with a bigger battery option and few visual updates. The Tigor now comes equipped with Ziptron technology.

2021 Tata Tigor EV finally revealed with Ziptron technology as fitted in Nexon EV. The prices for the EV will be officially revealed on 31st August. The Sub-4m sedan EV comes with hosts of changes inside out, and the major change in FY2021 Tigor is the Ziptron technology as in Compact SUV Nexon EV. The electric motor takes power from a 26 KWh lithium-ion battery pack and comes equipped with advanced smartphone connectivity of up to 30 connected car features. Updated Tata Tigor boasts its features list with remote commands and remote diagnostics. As for safety ABS with EBD, Dual airbags, CSC, HAA, and HAD have been available.
Just as it offers an 8 year or 1,60,000 km battery warranty in Nexon EV, the same comes for Tigor EV as well. It should be noted that currently there are no direct rivals within its segment. Only last month Tata has launched a special commercial purpose Xpres-T EV with a driving range of up to 213 km in a single charge in two battery configuration options. The new Tigor EV revealed with a signature Teal blue color and bookings have commenced in the Indian market with a token amount of Rs 21,000. The features list comprises of 7-inch infotainment system with Harman four speakers and four tweeters.
Tata says that Tigor EV will be delivered peak power of 73.7 HP of maximum power output and 170 Nm of peak torque, and EV can sprint from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 5.7 seconds. The 26 KWh lithium-ion battery pack is said to come with efficiently asked to offer better range and better performance, with handling aided by a lower center of gravity and balanced suspension setup. While the EV can be had with an AC charger for 8.5 hours and a fast charger from 0 to 80% in just 60 minutes. The permanent magnet Synchronous AC motor as in the Nexon EV aids in instant torque balancing.
