3 confirmed Mid-Size SUV launches till the end of the year

Companies have now shifted their whole focus on the SUV segment with every other car company leaking news about their new coming SUV, be it launch, spy shots designs patients and whatnot. Talking about the Launches, many companies have recently announced/postponed their arrival of their new models with some still having uncertainty about the exact dates, however, some of the carmakers have confirmed that they will be launching their models very soon till the end of the year. Here is the list of 3 confirmed Mid-Size SUV launches by the end of the year.

  1. Skoda Kushaq

The Kushaq was unveiled back in March 2021 and hopefully will be making its final launch on 28th June 2021. The car will be available in 2 engine options first the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, coupled with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine, which will be coupled with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG transmission gearbox.

  1. Volkswagen Taigun

As both the companies Skoda and Volkswagen belongs to the same Volkswagen group, they are meant to share things and the same is the case here both the Kushaq and Taigun will be sharing most of their parts and features as both are built on the same MQB A0 IN heavily localised platform and will also be available in 2 engine options first the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, coupled with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine, which will be coupled with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG transmission gearbox.

  1. MG Astor

MG Astor aka MG ZS petrol variant will be a new offering by the car makers in the Indian markets and will be available in 2 engine options, first being the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing up to 120hp of power and 150Nm of peak torque and second being a 1.3-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing up to 163hp of power and 230Nm of torque, making the car the highest power and torque producing over its competitors. Both the variants will be available in both manual and automatic transmission variants.
