With the production getting back on track after two months of lockdown, sales of many of the cars are returning back to their normal figures. However, the demand for some of these cars has been piling up in these two months owing to the further increase in their waiting period. Most of these cars are SUVs which belongs to different categories, as the SUVs are the most sought-after segment at the present date. So, here is the list of 5 SUVs with the highest waiting period in July 2021.
- Mahindra Thar
The car with the longest waiting period this month also remains the Mahindra Thar with a waiting period for select variants in some states reaching more than a year, although most of the other variants still remain at a waiting period of about 6-7 months which too is a long wait for your favourite car.
- Hyundai Creta
The best-selling SUV of every month, Hyundai Creta is the second car with the highest waiting period, which even reaches a wait of 9 months on the lower diesel variants. Although the mid and top tier variants carry a much less waiting period of about 1 to 3 months.
- Nissan Magnite
The only Nissan car which has been on a long waiting list since the launch of the car back in Dec 2020, since the launch the car has seen many price hikes but still now is the 2nd most affordable SUV car just behind the Renault Kiger. Some variants of the car still retain the waiting period up to 6-7 months which has hiked up since last month which was at 5 months waiting.
- Kia Sonet
Kia Sonet is the best-selling Kia car and also the 2nd best-selling compact SUV of the month, but suffers a long waiting period of up to 5 months on select variants. The company has renewed the Sonet for this year with very minor changes including the new Kia logo in the front.
- Kia Seltos
This Kia car also enjoys the same waiting period on the select variant, which is up to 5 months, and like the Sonet, the Seltos also received a minor update recently with features upgrade like a new Panoramic sunroof and a dual-tone treatment for the interior.
