Honda Jazz 2020 4th generation avatar has launched in global markets. A few weeks ago, it gets tested at Global NCAP and rated 5-star safety rating in adults as well as in child occupant.

The New Honda Jazz 2020 recently being crash-tested at Euro NCAP and secured a perfect 5-star safety rating. Out of 100%, it gets 87% for adult occupant protection, 83% for child occupant protection, 80% for vulnerable road users, and 76% in safety assists. The tested model of jazz comes with updated safety features like driver knee airbag, passenger airbag, side head, and side chest airbags at the driver, co-driver airbag, center airbag for driver and front passenger seat. With these airbags, it also comes equipped with the autonomous emergency braking system, seat belt reminder, ISOFIX child seats, lane assists system, and speed assistance.
The vehicle picked for the safety testing was probably the top-spec variant which came equipped with all the technology and safety features. However, it noted that the safety ratings are applied for all the other Honda Jazz 2020 variants as well. Variants from the start base SE to top-end trim Crosstar Ex, on both left- and right-hand driving. New Honda Jazz 2020 powered with a 1.5-liter i-MMD( intelligent multi-mode driving) petrol engine coupled to an electric motor which generates 109 PS and 253 Nm of peak torque. The engine produces 97 PS of maximum power and 131 Nm of peak torque when mated with an e-CVT gearbox transmission system.
As per reports Honda motors, India has no plans to bringing new updated Honda to the Indian market. As of now Honda has updated the Jazz to BS6 norms and currently priced between Rs 7.49 lakh – Rs 9.73 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Honda Jazz puts up against the likes of New-generation Hyundai i20, Maruti’s Suzuki Baleno, tata Altroz, Volkswagen polo, and Toyota Glanza in the Indian market.
