The Japanese Four-wheeler manufacturer Honda Model wise June 2021 sales analysis, with C-Segment Sedan topping the list.

- WR-V recorded a total of 466 units against 658 units with 29 percent growth on YoY basis
Honda cars India registered a cumulative sale of 4,767 units last month as against 1,398 units during the same month last year in June 2020, getting massive 241 percent positive sales growth on a YoY basis. When compared on the MoM basis the brand sold 2,032 units in May 2021 getting 135 percent positive sales growth on an MoM basis. Honda City continues to be the top seller passenger car from the brand with 2,571 units last month as against 585 units in June 2020, resulting in massive 339 percent positive sales growth.
The Mid-Size Sedan Amaze finishes off the month in the second position with 1,487 units sold in June 2021 against 139 units back in June 2020, getting a massive tremendous 970 percent positive sales growth. Although, last year the manufacturer launches the fifth generation of City and as of now fourth and fifth generation is being sold in the Indian market side by side. Priced between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 14.94 lakh ex-showroom for the new generation, with two engine options – 1.5 Litre petrol I-VTEC and 1.5 Litre oil burner I-DTEC.
Currently, the best seller city new generation offers V, VX, and ZX trims. The petrol engine 1.5 Litre I-VTEC develops the maximum power of 119 HP and 145 Nm of peak torque. While the 1.5 Litre oil burner generates 99 HP of maximum power and 200 Nm of peak torque. Only the other segment Honda WR-V registered a total of 466 units against 658 units during the same period last year, getting 29 percent negative sales growth. Honda Jazz finished at last position only manages to sell 243 units last month and compared to the MoM basis it only manages to sell 214 units in May 2021, resulting in 14 percent sales growth.
