A few months ago Hyundai launched its much-awaited Hyundai Alcazar in the Indian market and since then, the car has been attracting decent sales numbers in the current lineup, however, to further improve these sales Hyundai has added a new variant for the Alcazar which is the Platinum (O) 7-seater variant that will be sitting somewhere between the lineup and will be priced at RS. 19.63 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant will be specific to the 1.5-litre diesel variant.
Talking about the features, this Platinum (O) variant will include a 10.25-infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, BlueLink connected car tech, Panoramic Sunroof, ambient lighting, Bose premium audio system, 360-degree camera and much more. as for the safety features, the Hyundai Alcazar will likely be getting an electric parking brake with auto-hold function, multiple airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, Electronic Stability Control and much more.
This 7-seater variant will be divided into a 2+3+2 seating arrangement, meaning 2 seats for the front, a bench seat with a capacity of 3 in the middle and 2 seats at the back. And for the overall dimensions, the Alcazar measures 4,500 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,675 mm in height and with a wheelbase of 2,760 mm.
The Alcazar is also available in a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine which can generate up to 159 PS of maximum power along with maximum torque of 192 Nm, which is available with an option to choose from a 6-speed MT or 6-speed AMT gearbox.
