After almost a year-long wait Hyundai has finally revealed its new i20 N line which is built on the top-spec Asta variant and comes with tons of visual upgrades. The car will go on sale September onwards and unlike all other Hyundai cars, this will be sold in specially designed 188 “Signature” outlets which are spread to 97 major cities. The new Hyundai i20 N line will expand the range of the car to rival its fierce competitors like Tata Altroz which never lets its news die.
The new Hyundai i20 N line will be available in a total of 2 variants namely N6 and N8 based on the Asta variant with some exterior modifications, with the most obvious being the dual-tone treatment for 6 colours namely -Thunder Blue, Fiery Red with back roof option, Titan Grey, Thunder Blue with Black Roof and Polar White options.
Talking about the exterior visual updates, the i20 N line will be following all the updates of that of the international model which will include things like sleeker and sportier-looking new reprofiled front bumper with a red accent at the lower end and carrying N line badging, the bonnet also gets prominent character lines, the sides feature new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels along with bright red clippers inside and black-coloured side skirts with red accents. While the rear only gets a restyled rear bumper, twin-tip exhaust and dark coloured diffusers.
As for the inside, the car gets an all-black finish with few N line inserts all around like the steering wheel. The front seats now are changed to bucked styled ones while the rear still comes with the standard one.
Talking about the engine the revealed Hyundai i20 N line will be powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine capable of generated 120 PS of maximum power along with 172 Nm of maximum torque. And will range between Rs. 8.8 to Rs. 11.4 lakhs (ex-showroom).
