Hyundai India reached yet another milestone of 1 crore vehicle from the production house in Tamil Nadu.

Hyundai Motors India Limited has today announced yet another milestone of becoming the fastest brand to reach a 1 crore milestone in the Indian market. Hyundai rolls out Alcazar as the 1 crore vehicle in India. Currently, the Korean manufacturer sells Santro, Grand I10 Nios, Aura, I20, Venue, Creta, Elantra, Verna, and Tucson in India. After the launch of Alcazar now Hyundai has five SUVs in its domestic portfolio. Hyundai achieved this milestone at a manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu.
The 1 crore vehicle is rolled out in the presence of Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin. Currently, Korean manufacture is the second largest car manufacturer in the Indian market and the journey starts from back in May 1996. The manufacture takes a very short span of time to reach the milestone, and the whole success starts from the first generation of Santro which was launched back in 1998, and since then the automaker has made its presence in high volume segments in India. While, the SUV segment has started gaining a boom after the launch of Mid-Size SUV Creta back in 2015, and since then the automaker has launched many SUVs in India.
Recently, Hyundai launched the three-row Creta-inspired SUV Alcazar in India. The SUV shares the same underpinnings with Creta and features a lot of commonalities with it. The SUV has been introduced with a starting price of Rs 16.30 lakh for the base and Rs 19.99 lakh for the Top-end trim variant. It is offered in three variants, and even the base variant loaded with tons of features and equipment. With the launch of Alcazar Hyundai further strengthen its portfolio of India. The SUV comes powered by a Litre petrol engine and Litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine.
