Hyundai Motors India limited released its monthly sales chart for august 2021, which shows a stable growth of 12.3 percent compared on a year-on-year basis. As per brand domestic sales, it stood at 46,866 units as against 45,809 units during the same month last year in July 2020 getting a year-on-year growth of a minor 2.3 percent. While the brand exported has seen the highest positive sales growth of 79.3 percent as it dispatched 12,202 units last month as against 6,800 units sold in July 2020.
When we compared with month on month in July 2021 Hyundai sold 48,042 units resulting in a negative sales growth on an MoM basis as in last month brand sold 46,866 units. Apart from that, the cumulative total sales registered 59,068 units last month which combined exports and domestic sales. Although, compared with last year’s same corresponding it garnered 52,609 units in august 2020 getting a positive sales growth of 12.3 percent compared on a year-on-year basis.

Mos the sales were attracted by SUV segment which includes best selling SUV Hyundai Creta, venue and recently launched Alcazar 6- 7- seater configuration which reported more than 3,000 units last month and has been well accepted by the customers as well. Seeing the boom of SUV space Hyundai is planning to introduce a new micro-SUV named Hyundai Casper in the Indian market, which is globally unveiled today. If the SUV makes its way to the Indian market it would help low budget UV audiences to get a feature-loaded good looking budget SUV.
