The Kia Seltos X Line has finally been revealed by the Korean Carmakers today followed by its launch in coming weeks. The X line marks the achievement of the car in reaching the 2-lakh sales milestone in India. The Seltos X line originally was first showcased back in the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show after which the car came into the limelight in Auto Expo 2020 held in India, although the car showcased there was a slightly toned-down version of the LA version.
Talking about the changes and upgrades, the new Kia Seltos X Line gets a Graphite matte exterior paint job with orange accents. Apart from the Graphite matte look the car also gets many glossy black inserts on the grille mesh, front skid plate, the fog lamp housing and the rear skid plate. The orange accents extend starting from the front bumper to the lower end of the gates to the rear skid plate.
The rear however retails the original feel with only a glossy finish to the tailgate and the bumper. The tiers used here are 18-inch crystal cut alloys which also accompany an orange accent at the centre.
Talking about the powertrain, the X line will be available in both 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol as well as 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine, with the former generating a maximum power output of 140 PS and maximum torque of 242 Nm, while the latter generating max power up to 115 PS and max torque up to 250 Nm.
The petrol variant of the car will be available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic unit while the diesel unit will be coupled with a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission gearbox. This new Seltos X Line will sit above all the other variants of the car and will now be the new range-topping model.
