Tata Tiago plays an integral role in the success of the Home-grown brand, since its debut in 2016 it emerged out as the best-selling passenger car for the brand. In the last calendar year 2020, it sold a total of 49,486 units and finished the year in 16th top-selling passenger car of the year, ahead of compact SUV Nexon and Premium hatchback Altroz. The biggest reasons for the recent success of Tata are expanding their line-up regularly with limited edition variants, new color schemes, and facelift models.
As of yesterday, the home-grown brand teased a video on their Social media handles about the launch of limited-edition Tiago, and today 2021 Tata Tiago launched with a Rs 5.79 lakhs price tag in XT trim, Rs 30,000 more from the regular XT trim. While there are no mechanical changes are done, only added some new Colour schemes like flame Red, pearlescent white, and Daytona Grey color for the XT trim line. 2021 tata Tiago being offered with an exclusive new 14-inch black Alloy wheels, 5-inch infotainment system of Harman boasting 3D navigation, Voice command, image and video playback, reverse parking sensor, and a rear parcel shelf.
Tata Retails Tiago with the starting price of Rs 4.85 lakhs for the base trim and Rs 6.84 lakhs for the Top trim (All prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi). Tiago powered with a 1.2 Litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which belts out 85 HP and 113 Nm of torque. The transmission duties are performed by a standard 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional 5-speed automatic gearbox system.
