Mahindra XUV700 complete lineup revealed

A few days from now Mahindra will be starting the pre-booking for its new upcoming car Mahindra XUV700 which was unveiled a few weeks ago, and now the company has revealed its complete variant lineup that the 5-/7-seater SUV will be launching in. At the time of unveiling Mahindra even revealed a part of its 5-seater XUV700 lineup with their price tags however for the other variant which is listed here the price tag for them will be revealed in a few days. Here is the full list of variants for the Mahindra XUV700.

Mahindra XUV700 lineup revealed

Broadly telling, the XUV700 will be divided into 2 categories first being the base version which is named MX and the other variant which is named AdrenoX or in short, AX, which is further divided as AX3, AX5 and AX7 which is the top-end variant.

Talking about the powertrains which were revealed previously, the XUV700 will be available in two variants first being the 2.0-litre four-cylinder mStallion turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing a maximum power of 200 hp with a maximum torque of 380 Nm coupled with either a 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT gearbox. While the other is a 2.2-litre four-cylinder mHawk turbocharged diesel engine capable of producing a maximum power of 155/185 hp with a maximum torque of 360/420/450(AT) Nm coupled with either a 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT gearbox and will also be available with drive modes such as Zip, Zap, Zoom and custom which are exclusive to diesel.

While talking about the pricing of the car which was revealed earlier, the base MX petrol MT has been priced at Rs 11.99 lakh, the base MX diesel MT is priced at Rs 12.49 lakh, the AX3 petrol MT is priced at Rs 13.99 lakh and the AX5 petrol MT at Rs 14.99 lakh, others on the above list will be also revealed very soon.

As for the competition, the Mahindra XUV700 lineup includes both 5 and 7 seater variants which means that the car will be rivalling the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, MG Hector the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun and the recently launched Skoda Kushaq, while in the 7-seater segment it will rival the likes of Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar and MG Hector Plus.
