Maruti Suzuki the top passenger vehicle manufacturer in India sold over 3,000 units of its MPV XL6 in April 2021.

Maruti Suzuki Motor India has launched the premium MPV XL6 a few years ago as a modern alternative to its bestselling MPV the Ertiga. There is not much of a difference in the cars, only the interior cabin and the LED lighting over the vehicle and retailed as the minor premium over the Ertiga. Last month, Maruti Suzuki sold 3,373 units of XL6 as against 3,062 units sold in March 2021, with getting positive sales growth of 10.25 percent on a MOM basis. It should be noted that it is the highest monthly sales number by XL6 this year.
As compared with the Ertiga, XL6 gets a larger grille, along with slightly altered LED headlamps, faux skid plates, and a new redesigned bumper, 15-inch alloy wheels, mirror caps, side cladding, and roof rails. As for the interior, it gets a larger infotainment system enables with android auto and apple car play, Auto climate control, manual driver seat height adjuster, keyless entry, push start/stop, rear AC vents, cruise control, two-captain seats, and much more. Maruti Suzuki retails XL6 with a base price of Rs 9.94 lakh and which goes up to Rs 11.73 lakh ex-showroom.
As for performance XL6 features the same mechanical specifications as in Ertiga. XL6 comes powered by a sole 1.5 Litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which belts out 105 PS of maximum power output and 138 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission system and an optional 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox system. Along with that XL6 also gets an SHVS mild-hybrid technology that improves fuel efficiency as well. Upon the launch, the MPV rivals Mahindra Marazzo, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, and Toyota Innova Crysta.
