New generation Vento Volkswagen flagship sedan to be launch at the end of 2021. Rumors suggest that it will be launch before Next-gen Skoda Rapid in the Indian market.

The last generation Volkswagen Vento has launched in the Indian market a decade ago. Since the launch in the market, Vento doesn’t go any design change. It remains the same as at the time of debut, like the Volkswagen Polo. Although, Volkswagen now going to replace the previous generation Vento with a new generation, which is going to launch at the end of the next year. While Volkswagen doesn’t conform to the news yet. The Next-generation Vento will be made on the same PQ25 platform that underpins its cousin, Skoda Rapid. Although the Volkswagen group working on a new platform for their Compact SUV segment line.
If we talk about the new-generation Vento design, it has lots of changes there. The sedan hasn’t been updated since the arrival in the Indian market, expect some minor cosmetic changes. However new gen-Vento features an all-new design, which will be in line with other global Volkswagen cars as well. The New-Vento could be offers features including, connected car-tech, apple car play, android auto, full LED lightening, mood lights, large touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, etc. The safety features include ABS with EBD, back sensors, front sensors, back camera, 360-degree view, hill assist, multiple airbags, and electronic stability program as well as new updated safety features.
The New-gen likely be powered by the same engine specification. The 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol TSI engine, which rated 110 PS of maximum power and 175 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties will be taken care of by 6-speed manual gearbox as well as an optional automatic transmission system. As for now, Volkswagen retails Vento with a price range from Rs 8.93 lakhs, which goes up to Rs 13.39 lakhs(ex-showroom). But, keeping in mind that all new features and design the price tag for the new model will likely rise as compared with this model. The Updated C-segment Sedan will likely to rivals, Skoda Rapid, Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki ciaz, and Toyota Yaris.
