Tata Motors august 2021 sales analysis – Altroz, Nexon, Harrier

Tata Motors India has released their monthly sales figures for august 2021, which saw year-on-year growth of an impressive 50.8 percent.

  • Tata Motors India registered 28,017 units last month
  • In July 2021 tata garnered 30,184 units resulting in 7% degrowth
  • Recently tata has unveiled its much-awaited mini–SUV Punch

Tata Motors India yesterday released its august 2021 monthly sales figures. The homegrown manufacturer garnered 28,017 units last month as against 18,583 units sold in the same month last year resulting in impressive 50.8 percent positive sales growth on a year-on-year basis. Last month tata has recorded a market share of 11.4 percent against 8.2 percent in twelve months back getting an increment of 3.2 percent. The company yet again finished at third position in overall car manufacturer monthly sales chart.

Tata motors finished last month ahead of Kia, Mahindra, Toyota, Honda, Renault, MG, Skoda, Nissan, Volkswagen, and so on. While, yet again Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai finished at the top two manufacturers with the former dispatching 1,03,187 units and the latter dispatching 46,866 units last month. Tata’s rise in monthly sales is courtesy of the well-documented launch and unveiling of new products every two months and has been in the automobile news. Moreover, Tata has regularly updated their product line-up in India marking it more effective for the customer base of each space.

Altroz and Nexon continue to contributing in big numbers and Tiago has been registering decent figures for the brand month on month. While a few days ago homegrown brand has unveiled its much-awaited mini-SUV that was earlier called tata HBX. Although, at the unveil company revealed a mini-SUV named PUNCH. While currently, the brand has revealed only the front design of the SUV and rear profile have been leaked ahead of launch. With this Tata is planning to strengthen its affordable range with PUNCH launch in the coming months. As for performance PUNCH is likely to be powered with 1.2 Litre Revotron petrol used in Tiago, Tigor, and Altroz, along with the Turbo version will also be offered as well.
