Tata Nexon Sells about 7,000 units this April 2021

Tata Motors has been maintaining its 3rd position of the total Automobile market shareholder, which only gets beaten by Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai Motors. April was a rather tough month for the Tata company where all of its cars registered negative sales compared to that of the month March 2021 where some models even recorded their all-time high sale in the month of March. The Tata Nexon became the best-selling car of the month for Tata, with a sale of about 7,000 units in April 2021.

The Tata Nexon to be exact recorded a sale of 6,938 units for April 2021 compared to the sale of 8,683 units in March 2021, translating to a MoM growth of -20.09 per cent which more like a decline instead of growth.

Talking about the car, the Nexon comes with 2 engine options – first being the 1.2 Litre 3-cylinder turbocharged Revotron Petrol engine generating 118-bhp Power and 170-Nm torque. And the other one being a 1.5 Litre 4-cylinder Turbocharged Revotorq Diesel engine generating 108-bhp power and 260-Nm torque. Both these variants gets an option of choosing either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Nexon also gets an EV version and is also the best selling EV cars of India as of now

Tata Retails Nexon SUV with a starting price of Rs 7.20 lakhs and it goes up to Rs 12.96 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Nexon is the only affordable passenger vehicle with a 5-star safety crash test rating at Global NCAP.
