The upcoming Tata Punch has been scheduled to launch this festive season however the car has already been leaked ahead of its launch. The earlier official shots displayed only the front facia of the car but now with the leaked image, we can also see the rear end of the car in clear daylight. Originally this car was displayed at the 2020 Auto Expo where it was named Tata HBX, but after the recent reveal, it was renamed Tata Punch. Talking about the recent rear-end images leaks, Tata Punch looks very similar to all the Tata SUVs majorly the best-selling Tata Nexon.
As for the design, the car features an extended blacked out firm from the thick C-pillar that covers the major side of the rear windshield, a sculpted bonnet similar to Nexon, a rather boxy designed taillamp with tri arrow LED design and a simple rear bumper with boxed rear reflectors, which can be clearly seen in Tata Punch rear-end leaked images.
The already revealed front facia of the car features a Nexon like design comprising of squared shaped headlamps, sleek LED DRL design between which a glossy black panel resides with the Tata logo. Below it is the large mesh designed radiator grille with a large central air vent and a rather simple bumper design that houses circular fog lamps on either side.
The sides of the Tata Punch get large side claddings, body-coloured door handles, sloping roofline and a set of dual-tone alloy wheels. As for the insides, the car gets a fairly large 7-inch infotainment system along with a semi-digital instrument cluster and an all-over boxy design. The powertrain that will be used in Tata Punch will be the same 1.2-litre petrol engine used in Altroz which can generate maximum power up to 86 PS and 113 Nm of max torque.
