Here we have the top 10 bestselling SUV for the month of June 2021, and yet again Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza finished in top of sales chart.

  • Maruti dispatched 12,833 units of Brezza last month
  • Second position is taken by Hyundai Creta with 9,941 units sold in June 2021
  • Last edition to the compact SUV space Nissan Magnite finished at number 10 position with 3,252 units

As the lockdown restriction slowly lifting up in Almost every state of India, the dealerships and sales numbers definitely boast up and it can be seen in last month’s figures as well. Every car manufacturer in India posted a positive sales growth in last month on a YOY basis. And as expected, the SUV segment has a strong sales number as well. And yet again Maruti Suzuki compact SUV Vitara Brezza leading the charge with 12,833 units were sold in June 2021 and finished at the top of the sales chart. The second position is taken by Hyundai’s new generation Creta, which was launched last year and posted 9,941 units in last month’s monthly sales chart.

2021 Kia Sonet

The Hyundai Groupe Kia seltos has also seen a positive sales growth last month, as it registered 8,549 units last month against 7,114 units during the same period last year resulting in 20 percent sales growth on a YOY basis. The fourth position Is taken by India’s only 5-star crash test safety rated Tata Nexon. Last month Nexon registered 8,033 units against 3,040 units In June 2020, with getting 164 percent positive growth. Yet another Korean manufacturer SUV Kia Sonet posted 5,963 units in June 2021 and finished at fifth position. Hyundai compact SUV Venue finished just below the Sonet with 4,865 units dispatched last month.

The seventh position is taken by Mahindra compact SUV XUV300 as 4,615 units were sold in last month against 1,812 units during the same period last year, with getting massive 154.6 percent positive sales growth on a year-on-year basis. The Mahindra Scorpio finished at eighth position with 4,160 units sold against 2,574 units in June 2020 getting a decent 61.6 present growth. American SUV ford EcoSport finished at ninth position with massive and highest positive sale growth of 189.6 percent on a YOY basis, as it sold 3,511 units last month. Nissan Motors’ last hope launch the compact SUV Magnite has been gaining good digits for the brand in India. Nissan dispatched 3,252 units of Magnite last month and finished at tenth position.
