As the cases of coronavirus are on a steep decline in the country, markets are returning to their new normal especially the automobile sector which has been suffering from many other issues including the lockdown due to the second wave of the pandemic. However, with this stabilizing market, demands for various cars have been reaching their limits as many companies are struggling to meet the demand which has been piling up since the lockdown. To overcome these huge pile-ups, companies are trying their best to increase their production even with covid norms in action. Here is the list of Top 5 cars with the highest waiting period in August 2021.

The car with the highest waiting list which has remained on this list like forever, the Mahindra Thar which has a waiting period of up to 1 year on some of its variants in specific cities, however even for other variants this waiting period can go down to at least 5-6 months. Although Mahindra is trying its hardest to lower this waiting period

Since the launch of the 2020 Hyundai Creta has been in great demand is so great that on some of its variant the waiting list has even reached up to 9 months, however, a few months back the company even removed the base diesel variant from their website due to overbooking of the car and waiting period even crossing 12 months mark.

  1. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga (up to 8 months)

The best-selling Compact SUV of this month has a quite high waiting period of up to 5 months on select variants. The car has recently received a mild facelift which has made the car sales even grow higher compared to others.
