Toyota Kirloskar Motor has finished the first month of the new year 2021 on high, with the new launches and facelift Fortuner and the new Fortuner legendary last month. While the updated Innova Crysta launched in November 2020. The Japanese manufacturer saw a massive 92 percent sales growth in Jan 2021 on a year-on-year basis. The company has also announced that a cumulative domestic tally of more than 50,000 units courtesy of their deal with Suzuki. Toyota garnered 11,126 units last month as against 5,804 units during the same corresponding period in 2020, with the tremendous growth of 92 percent in sales volume. It was done with the help of new launches from Toyota like Fortuner facelift, Fortuner legendary, and launched in November 2020 Innova Crysta facelift. Toyota Retails Fortuner facelift priced at Rs 29.98 lakhs for the entry-level trim and Rs 37.58 lakhs for the Top-level trim (All the prices are Ex-showroom, New Delhi). Offered in standard and legendary trims, it receives a lot of changes inside out. Some of the updates are, sleeker headlamps, redesigned front grille, sportier front bumper, Fog lamp new housing, new dual-tone color, a set of newly redesigned alloy wheels, and so on.
On the other hand, at legendary variant, it gets different front fascia, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, Sequential operation function headlamps, 18-inch machine Cut alloys, two-tone roofs, and new more advanced features. The legendary is available in a fully loaded 4×2 trim which is priced at Rs 37.58 lakhs (Ex-showroom). Toyota introduced the first rebadge version of the Suzuki alliance the Glanza back in July 2019, and Toyota urban cruiser last year both vehicles are accepted by the customers and helps in boast Toyota sales.
