Mahindra XUV700 spy shot

Upcoming Mahindra XUV700 leaked without any camouflage

Mahindra has been sneaky about the XUV700 up until now while showing off just some highlights of the finished product like the headlamps, panoramic sunroof or what they call “Skyroof” along with few other features, but today spy shots of the new upcoming Mahindra XUV700 has been leaked online. In the leaked images the XUV700 can be viewed without any camouflage displaying the car in all its glory.

Talking about the design of the car which looks more like an MPV rather than an SUV which is inspired by the XUV500. As for its front facia, the car gets a front grille that carries the Mahindra logo along with vertical slats which are being covered by a thin film of tape, the grille stretches to combine with the new headlamps. One thing we aren’t sure about is that the grille doesn’t have any chrome bits which might change when the car gets its final reveal. The design of the headlamps seems like the fang headlamp design which you can also see in Peugeot car however these fangs look more like coma symbols that rock the LED DRLs whichruns towards the bottom edge.

As for the sides, the car gets a strong character line that stretches from the headlamps till the tailgate which gets a rather unique bump that might not look pleasant to the eyes for people. The window on the XUV700 gets a chrome lining underneath and are surrounded by a blacked-out pillar apart from the A-pillar which retains the body colour. The roof gets a small body-coloured shark fin antenna and a pair of faux silver roof rails.

The rear of the XUV700 gets a massive tri star taillight design, a pair of rear fog lamps and a faux silver skid plate. The interior of the XUV700 has already been leaked a few weeks ago and has a separate article on it on our website.

Talking about the powertrain, as announced by the brand that the car will pack in the same engine spec as of the 2nd gen Thar, which are the mStallion 2.0-litre petrol engine and the mHawk 2.2-litre diesel engine with the former generate max power up to 200 hp and the latter generating 185 hp.
