With only three cars in its line-up, Kia India has made a pretty significant impact on the Indian automobile market, especially the two SUVs Sonnet and Seltos which have been one of the best-selling SUVs since their launch. Even after being such successes, Kia hasn’t introduced any special edition to its cars up until now, with the launch of the Kia Seltos X Line. However, a blacked-out edition isn’t a favourite for all, as some might even like a bright vibrant colour that may look more pleasing to the eye and grabs attention from a mile away and what’s better than those equipped on a powerful sport edition model. Having difficulty imagining it? then Shashank Das from @sdesyn has you covered with another mind-blowing Kia Seltos digital render, and this time it’s a performance-oriented GTZ edition.
Looks-wise this Seltos looks 10 times better than the stock version available in India, on top of that, this design also comprises various visual upgrades that can actually be equipped in your car. Talking about the changes and upgrades, this Kia Seltos GTZ edition design comes with a funky looking dual-tone orange and black paint job which looks rather refreshing to the eyes and apart from the dual-tone black colour, all the chrome highlights have been removed making it a complete chrome deleted model.
Other changes include the same headlamps design but with an extended LED DRL strip that runs towards the centre and a new sporty bumper design which comprises a blacked-out fog lamp hosing. Apart from that, the front facia of the car remains identical to the stock one. At the sides, this GTZ edition comes with body-coloured door handles, wider wheel fenders, lowered on sport springs and larger and wider new design alloy wheels.
At the rear, the designer has given this Seltos a far better-looking taillight design that is complemented with a smoked glass look, GTZ badging on the side, a new faux quad exhaust setup slightly tweaked rear bumper and a blacked-out rear skid plate. The only thing that the car misses out is the roof rails which might have added a cherry on top.
As for the engine, this Kia Seltos GTZ edition will most likely be equipped with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that would have been fine-tuned to deliver better performance than the regular Seltos.
