Mahindra XUV700 will be the company’s new flagship car that will be taking place of the much costlier and less featured Mahindra Alturas G4 and with its recent reveal the car surely has made a big headline due to its much aggressive price and tons of features that will give even the best-selling SUVs run for their money. The only thing that the car might lack from the other rivals is its looks which are a bit polarizing as some do like it and some don’t but the thing that most of us will like, if the XUV700 was also available in a Sports Edition avatar, if you are having a difficult time imagining it worry not as we bring you Mahindra XUV700 digitally imagined as a Sport Edition concept designed by an automobile concept artist Vishnu Suresh (@zephyr_designz).
Going by the looks, this concept art looks much much better than the original XUV700. If talking about the changes that the designer has given, firstly the front bumper is slightly tweaked and now comes with a new cube styled flog lamp design as used in Seltos and a large air vent at the centre. The LED DRLs used has also been slightly modified to deliver blue light.
As for the sides, there isn’t any change except the larger 7 twin-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Tyres. While the rear end of the car also gets few improvements like the infinite taillight, slightly tweaked rear bumper, a darkened diffuser and twin chrome tip exhausts.
The roof and the insides haven’t been touched by the designer. While the powertrain that can be offered in this sport edition will have the same 2.0-litre 4-cylinder mStallion petrol engine and 2.2-litre 4-cylinder mHawk diesel engine.
